I Am A Geek

I don’t have taped glasses or squinty eyes,
I don’t hide from the sun or live on cola or date my computer
and I don’t know Kevin, Nelson,or Marsha in IT,
Although I’m sure they all have really high IQs.

I have Windows 2000, not Windows 95,
I speak English and French, not binary,
And I pronounce it “Lynn-ux”… not “Line-ux”.

I can proudly place an Intel ™ Celeron ™ sticker on my computer.
I believe in fault-tolerant redundant hard drive arrays, not random data loss;
Windows, not Linux; And that Bill Gates, though devious and greedy, is a brilliant man!

A “box” is a computer case; A “DIP switch” is more important than it sounds,
And it IS pronounced “Scuzzy”…not “SCSI”, “Scuzzy”!

Geeks are second to the cleaning staff, The first people to call when
it won’t boot, And the best chance you have of getting your data back!
